Goals of class:
My goal of the class is to get a good a basic understanding of all types of engineering. I hope to learn about cad, design, coding, ect... I will also help learn how to properly do group work in a professional environment. At the end of this semester i hope to walk away with a solid foundation to go into my engineering classes next year.

Course Objective:
The main objective of this course is to gain the last little credit I need to graduate on time. Further, I would like to utilize the class time to better develop my problem solving skills and learn more about 3D printing.

3D printed samples:
The quality of the figurines is around a 7/10, as they get smaller their quality also diminishes. They are a little rough on the touch. We would say they are moderately complex, the quality of detail is also decent. Further, they seem to have adequate functionality.
3D printing restrictions:
Although 3D printing is fairly easy and inexpensive there are some challenges when it comes to 3D printing. to begin the most inconvenient thing about 3D printing is that it takes extremely long to print things, anything big would take hours to print. Another thing is that you have to remember that things don't always print out how you would like, it may take 3 or 4 times to get the print you want.

3D models:
The first model we are thinking about is a coat hook, designated as an octopus, capable of holding three coats. Next is a comb that is 70mm in length and 30mm in width, this is used for combing the hair. Finally, we are designing a screw that is 40mm long and 20mm wide.

After reviewing all three of our designs and to come up with test to make a decision on witch design we would end up going with. After we compared all three designs we decided we would do both the comb and octopus coat hanger, the screw wouldn't be the best product. Our test is below.
here is a link to a video describing our two designs here: https://youtu.be/p7CjQmPzPmo
